Candace touched my heart. I share many parts of her story. I was crushed to learn her son had passed away. My son is alive and we are working on reunion. I think that Candace is an incredible, strong woman. I admire her. I also wish I could give her a huge hug. So grateful to her for sharing her story and grateful to you for making that possible.

Thank you so much, Stephanie, for the kind words and ‘virtual’ hug. I wish you luck, resilience, and joy – so much joy – in reunion with your son. ❤️

Candace, I loved hearing your story again although I learned even more this time. Yvonne is such a great interviewer, she has a way of getting at the “hot topics” we haven’t thought about discussing previously. My friends who have heard my story many times have said my story on this podcast was the best they had ever heard, as they learned even more. Candace, I admire your strength and endurance throughout. Thanks so much for continuing to tell your story.
